Zombie Nazis in hot air balloons
I recently came across a site for a low-budget independent zombie movie. It's far from certain that the flick will ever actually get made, but this project distinguishes itself in a few ways:
- it highlights a continued resentment held by the Dutch against the Germans,
- the special effects are rather above par, and
- the Nazi zombies appear to invade the marshy Dutch countryside by air, more specifically, by balloon.
Check out the trailers. The anti-German stuff probably won't resonate much with non-Europeans, and it's difficult to tell how tongue-in-cheek the Dutch teasing really is. But the zombie balloon invasion in the second trailer is sweeeet.
